Following April 14th...

Following a hugely successful day for all involved last month its time for a write up so that the day can be re-lived and those that couldn’t make it are still able to shop the hand selected line up we had in store! If you are new around here then ‘Hello’, the Mama Meet & Market events have been taking place since 2017, the sole purpose is to create a fun & vibrant hub that acts as a platform for independent businesses but also allows parents a place in the Midlands to gather, shop, learn, eat and play with the best services, experts and brands around. This last event was named ‘The Family Showcase’ as it was the first event of its kind, up until now we had never ran workshops, live talks or demos, we had also never held a whopping 90+ stall holders before. We are so excited to be taking the events into other areas in around the Midlands too, with our next event being held in Birmingham on September 22nd.

So Welcome, our events are open to the public and we welcome everyone! We try to keep variety in mind when selecting our stall holders allowing the whole family a fabulous shopping experience! Something thats very important to us is that our events are as accessible for families as possible, we provide areas of entertainment for the little ones throughout to ensure everyone is having a great time. Happy children = happy parents, right?!?

Family is our niche, our events are full to the brim of Children’s brands selling everything from clothing, toys and books too furniture, hypno-birthing courses and party supplies. There are hundreds of incredible online brands, independent family ran shops and mum makers that need to be shouted about, and we want to do that! So I hope you enjoying taking a look through our event images (taken by @thosegirls.co) and take a browse through our stall holders to discover some amazing products and people behind them.

THIS TIPI WAS MADE FOR DANCING.

We had a DISCO TENT, this was part of my plan from the very beginning, with the beautiful space that was available at The Roundhouse Derby, we figured it was a case of go big or go home! The wonderful Sami Tipi donated a tipi for the day and we hired Silent Disco-mania to provide a very unique form of entertainment for the little ones, I think from the images below you can see my plan worked! We hope your little ones had an amazing time dancing like no one was watching.

WORKSHOPS, LIVE TALKS & DEMOS.

For the first time ever we ran a series of workshops, live talks and demonstrations. These were something that we wanted to offer as an extra for you, we have incredible shopping, food and entertainment but taking more than that away with you was important to us. Learning life saving skills, talking to birthing experts or Children’s groups. Our workshops were also a chance to make a day of it, they are intimate and give parents the chance for some one on one time aways from the hustle and bustle of the market area. Below is the list of talks and workshops that were ran on April 14th.
