Mama meet & Market- The final Introduction.
4 days to go!!! I repeat 4 days to go!! This is my final introduction to the wonderful stall holders you will find at the event this Sunday. I wanted to make sure there was a variety of brands, a variety of products that mums cant be without. Books, well to say we have a large collection is an understatement. Books are an investment, they are passed down to siblings, friends and family and they never age (the pages may age but the story does not) I knew I needed a bookseller at the event and Amanda's range from Books & Pieces is fabulous. We recently road tested her indestructible books, water resistant, rip proof and even anti 'wrecking ball' toddler! So thrilled to have her.
I'm not the most organized mama, despite the fact I may appear that way. I do however have an unhealthy obsession with stationary (covers face with hands) I don't need another notepad nor do I need another lists pad but I sure as hell keep buying them. You may remember me sharing back in March a wonderful brand based in Ashbourne, Little Paperie. I purchased an emotional set called 'Letters too..' It was a beautiful chance to write letters to Oakley for his birthday and you guys LOVED it! Lucy & Heidi source the most fantastic stationary that you will not be able to say no too.

Hello. I’m Amanda and I live in Leicestershire with my three young boys. And I’m a bit of a book addict! Which is just as well really, given my business is Books & Pieces - an online bookstore specialising in books for 0-6 year olds.
I make book buying easier and more affordable for families like mine. As a parent, it can sometimes be hard to find quality books that you and your family will all enjoy. I help you by working with a network of suppliers to source the kind of books that I read with my own children (and I’m pretty picky - so I hope you’ll like them too) – and I sell them online and at baby events in my fabulous 3 for £10 deal.
I also stock a selection of gorgeous teddies and nursery accessories from your favourite children’s stories, including Peter Rabbit, The Tiger Who Came to Tea, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Guess How Much I Love You, and many of the Julia Donaldson titles.

Little Paperie.
We are Lucy and Heidi, the main team behind Little Paperie. Little Paperie is a quirky stationery and lifestyle boutique located in the beautiful market town of Ashbourne in Derbyshire on the edge of The Peak District National Park. Stationery is our passion and we truly believe in sending cards, mail and letters to show people you care.
We absolutely love our shop. It’s a treasure trove of beautiful stationery, gifts, homeware, greetings cards, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and much more. It really is a stationery lovers dream and we feel super lucky that we get to work in it every day.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously. If you follow us on social media we make no secret of the fact that we have a little thing for flamingos. Ok, a big thing. We love them. Fun, vibrant and elegant. We think that sum us up too actually.
Each and every brand and product that we stock in our boutique is hand picked by us. Little Paperie is unique in style and we like our greeting cards, notebooks, pom-poms and pencils to reflect that too! We have also recently launched our own published range. This is something we have wanted to do for a very long time. It feels really great to use our skills to create our own range. The range includes cards, prints and notebooks all hand drawn and painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, but who knows what the future holds as we have so many exciting ideas and plans! There are lots of gorgeous animal prints that are perfect for little one’s nurseries and lots of lovely personalised gifts available to order too!
We are super excited for the Mama meet and market. It’s so lovely to bring all these fabulous businesses together, we’ve become great friends with quite a few of them and its lovely supporting each other. We will definitely be doing some shopping and look forward to seeing you all there!
